Not getting email updates? Please resubscribe
Back in January, I announced my new pen name and gave this blog a new look. Behind the scenes, I also moved it to a new host so I could have more control over how it looked and behaved. But, of course, there was a problem. There’s always a problem when technology is involved. Always.
It turns out that when you migrate a WordPress site from wordpress.com to wordpress.org, people who follow your blog via email no longer get emails. Yeah, I know, kinda defeats the purpose of following via email, right? I’m guessing I had quite a few email followers, because when I migrated my site, my hit counts tanked bigtime. Now I feel like whenever I post, I’m screaming into a void. Waahhhh. No one is listening to me. Waaahhh.
Want me to stop whining? Join the club. Join my email list. Enter your email address in the handy little box to the right labeled–not coincidentally–email address. Then you’ll get an email whenever I spew some more drivel onto my blog grace the universe with my wit and wisdom.
You wouldn’t want me to get sad whenever I look at my blog stats, right? Right?

I did get some notices a few times, but they’ve stopped now. I suggest contacting Alex and asking him to replace your old blog with this new one so you don’t lose your place. I keep going there only to remember it’s gone now.

Good idea – thanks. And I’m not sure why you aren’t getting notices. There’s something wonky with my WordPress site, and I can’t figure out what it is. Argh!

I just checked, and I see you in the list of followers but not in the list of email subscribers. Not sure what happened there.
